Case Battle Templates allow you to quickly set up your favorite case battles without having to recreate them each time. You can save your templates, name them, and even share them with the community. Here’s how to make the most of this new feature!
1. Creating and Managing Your Templates
To start using custom case battle templates:
Create a Template: When setting up a battle, you can choose to save it as a template. Simply fill out the details of your battle setup—this includes:
Battle Mode: Choose the battle mode you want.
Battle Chests and Quantity: Select which chests you want to include and how many of each.
Battle Modifiers: Add any optional modifiers that suit your style.
Save Your Template: After configuring your battle, you can save it as a custom template. Give it a unique name, and it will be available for you to reuse later.
Edit Your Templates: If you want to tweak a template, just go to the Template Management page where you can edit existing templates, update the chests, or adjust modifiers.
2. Template Profile and Usage
Once you’ve saved a template, it will have the following details:
Display Name: A name you choose for easy identification.
Slug: A URL-friendly version of your template’s name.
Create Date: The date the template was created.
User Information: Your details as the template creator.
Battle Mode & Chests: The battle mode you chose along with the chests and quantities.
Usage Stats: See how many times the template has been used to create battles.
You can access your template’s profile page to review these details, share the template, or create a battle using the template.
3. Finding and Using Templates
Battle Creation Page: When creating a new battle, you can select from your saved templates. All the fields (battle mode, chests, quantity, modifiers) will be prepopulated, making it faster to get started.
Template Profile Page: Each template has a dedicated profile page where you can view details, usage stats, and even share the template with the community.
Search and Discovery: A searchable index allows you to find public templates. Use the search bar to find templates by name, and sort the results to find the best ones for your needs. Filters allow you to narrow down your search.
4. Sharing Your Templates with the Community
Public Templates: Templates you create can be made public for the community to discover and use. Once a template is made public, other users can:
Search for it by name.
Share the template within the platform’s chat system.
Access via a shareable link to directly explore or use the template.
Template Links: Generate a shareable link to invite others to use or explore a specific template. It’s a great way to collaborate and showcase your favorite setups!
